The Plympton Bulldogs Soccer Club approached Speed and Stills at an exciting turning point for the club, their first season competing in the FSA State League 2 (SL2 South) here in South Australia. Stepping up to this level brought a new set of expectations, both on and off the pitch, and the club wanted a photographer who could capture their specific match days.

From the outset, we worked closely with the club to understand what they exactly needed. This involved genuine collaboration to identify the mix of content that would serve the club best. That meant strong, in game action photography to capture the intensity of a semi professional level of competition, alongside other photos that told the broader story of their matches.

Sponsor requirements were a key part of the brief. As with most clubs at this level, sponsor visibility and recognition matter, and we worked with the Plympton Bulldogs to ensure specific sponsor signage, activations, and moments were captured when they needed it most.

The result was a select range of matches that the club highlighted before the season, which was ultimately shaped around the club's needs. It's an example of how we approach every client relationship - starting with a conversation about what success looks like for the club, then building a photography plan around it — covering all the on-field and and commercial requirements in equal measure.
